Christmas Traditions....
Well....to start with, we usually go get a Christmas tree the second Saturday in December...that is a main tradition...at least for us kids, we go out past town probably an hour from our house and we bring candy canes and hot chocolate and Christmas music and we "window shop" for a little bit and then when we start getting into a good Christmas tree area we get out and trudge through the snow till we find the "perfect" tree=o) (usually a Charlie Brown tree...maybe not quite Charlie Brownish as the Humphrey's thought=o)so then we come back home and decorate the tree and house and listen to Christmas music. Then usually around the 10th of December or so we go over to Grandma Tozier's and help her decorate her tree and celebrate her birthday. Sometime in there we go over to Grandma April's and make reindeer cookies and santa face cookies=o) and then on Christmas Eve we go over to Grandma April's and open all our presents from them and hang out and eat loooooooooots of goodies=o) then we come home and drag going to bed out as long as possible...then Christmas morning we get up probably around 6:00 or 6:30 but we're not aloud to come out in the living room till 7:30...so at like 7:29 we all go out in the hall and turn on the music (music is a big part of our Christmas) and then right at 7:30 we run out and say GET UP!!! GET UP!!! but they are usually up=o) and then we come out to find our stockings because Mom and Dad started this new tradition a few years ago were they hide our stockings...so we find our stockings and then we have to wait till Mom and Dad are ready (which seems to take forever!=o) and then we all dump/take the stuff our of our stockings and some of the stuff is wrapped and some of it isn't....so I look at all the not wrapped stuff and then sloooooooowly unwrap all the wrapped stuff=o) and then for some strange reason...Mom and Dad want to eat breakfast...so they make themselves eggs or something, and us kids just eat the pears we get in our stockings or leftover goodies from the night before (like Cranberry Bread!!! Delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and then they are finally ready to open presents and so Dad gets everyone a present and we all open presents...and that goes on for the rest of the day! and more towards the afternoon both sets of Grandparent's come over and they open their presents from us and we eat a pretty big meal....with delicious ham!!! and then we play with our toys and sometime's we watch a movie if we get a new one for Christmas=o) and that's about it.....I think that's enough....
