The Gingerbread Man (my story)

Gingerbread men are so much fun, but I like eating them too much to let them run away.
Here's my version of The Gingerbread Man (in pictures)...

Cookie Baking

 Baking cookies with friends = lots of laughter, fun and messes! My family and another family got together and made a lot of cookies the other day. We made 4 different kinds, but with six kids and two adults it went really fast.

 

 

 The younger kids got bored after about 3 batches and decided to go play in the snow....with a goat, to pull their sled! They said he didn't like it, and the kids ended up pulling each other.

Silent Night

Our Christmas Program this year was mostly music. Anyone that wanted to play or sing told the Pastor and he put it all together with narration between each special. I wanted to play my harp...but I didn't want to play alone =o) So I asked a friend to play his guitar with me. I think it turned out pretty well, and guitar and harp sound awesome together!

You will probably need to turn the volume up to hear it, especially at the beginning (and don't forget to pause my music at the bottom of my blog)

Christmas Baking...

....has begun! Chord, Calder, Teague, Cadence and I all made gingerbread houses yesterday! It was really fun and messy :D

 mmm...this is mine, the shingles on the roof are chocolate covered pretzels!! YUM!

 Lol, we made a BIG mess, there was icing COVERING the floor, and I even found some in my apron pocket :D

Hmmm....I haven't posted since last year...I'm WAY behind=o)

So, we took family pictures...and here's a few of them.

Teague doesn't play the guitar...but this was Grandpa Seay's and it looked really neat as a prop=o)

What did you think? we took them at home and I thought most of them turned out pretty well (of course I only posted the good ones, but....=o)
