This is me (obviously=o) lunging Splash...
He was being a GINORMOUS stinker and kept stopping, I was supposed to be hitting my leg with the dressage wip to make him go...and I kept missing my leg hehehe=o) So I finally had to hit him with it...but I finally got him going, and it was super fun ( I got dizzy though when I was trotting him on the lunge line=o) has that ever happened to anyone else?)I also got to trot while I was on him...and the teacher said I'm doing a lot better=o)

I remember when I had to lunge my horse Dash. I hated it because he always tried to kick me, and I was terrified of him. :o) It turns out, I'm not as much of a horse person as I thought I was. :o) I think it's cool that you're taking lessons though. I think that might have been a better starting option for me, but that's ok. :o)
I vould probably get dizzy.. I like the little saying on your sidebar! Are you going to do one every day or just when you feel like it? ;)

I've gotten dizy before too, it helped me if I looked at other things while I was lunging him. Like looking at whatever was right above his head or the saddle.
